The "Strategy Properties" window is accessible from the Strategy Manager and allows you to set some strategy parameters.

Strategy Properties Tab

• The strategy's creation date and time are displayed.
• Hide from Strategy Application Menu: You can instruct the program to hide the strategy from the strategy application menus to temporarily make it unusable.
• Stop and unapply the strategy if the market to which it is applied is closed. If you select this option, the strategy is automatically stopped and unapplied when the market to which it is applied closes. It is recommended to use this option in combination with the automatic removal from the Market Monitor option (see Options, Trading tab) if you plan to use the strategy with automatic application via Market Processor to automatically free up space in the Market Monitor.
• Author: You can specify the author's details and a description of the strategy. This data can also be made permanent and unchangeable by other users.
• Bet Limit: You can set a limit on the maximum number of bets the strategy can place on a single selection or market.

Bind to Markets Tab
A strategy can be bound to one or more market types so that when applied, it limits its application to one or more market types for which it was designed.

Password Tab
Using this tab, you can set a password to protect your strategy, choosing between three different levels of protection.

A strategy without a password can be opened and used by anyone if the file containing it is shared.

A password-protected strategy can be used freely by its creator as if it were not protected.

When a strategy is password-protected and shared, a user other than its creator will be presented with one of the following options once they enter the password:

• Strategy with visible and editable structure: The strategy can be used freely and edited.
• Strategy with visible but non-editable structure: The strategy's structure will be visible and applicable, but cannot be edited.
• Strategy with hidden structure: The strategy will be usable, but its structure will be hidden, and only a general summary will be visible.

Only the user who password-protected a strategy can remove it.

When a strategy is password-protected, a Betfair user ID can be specified. This user ID will be the only one who can use the strategy, other than the creator. If no ID is specified, all users with the password will be able to use the strategy.
